The Little Long Walk

Want to show up and stand up like Michael?
Lace up your shoes and host a Little Long Walk

This program is a great way to celebrate and educate students, staff and the whole school community about First Nations People and Cultures.

A Long Walk Ambassador will deliver an information session leading up to the day. They will talk about the importance of The Long Walk, discuss why Michael walked & work with students on banners using Aboriginal symbols to tell their own stories and show their support, then carrying them during your own Little Long Walk.

A Traditional Owner will deliver a Welcome to Country before we begin the Walk & undertake cultural activities.
